Susan Furlaud, NP
Susan Furlaud, NP, was a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the New York State Psychiatric Institute in New York City, one of the first institutions in the United States to integrate teaching, research and therapeutic approaches to the care of patients with mental illnesses. She also served as a clinical instructor for the Columbia University School of Nursing.
Since retiring she spends her summers in East Hampton. During the winter she volunteers as a docent at the Vero Beach Museum of Art in Vero Beach, Florida.
In addition to serving as EHHF trustee, Ms. Furlaud is on the Foundation’s Medical Advisory, Strategic Planning and Nominating Committees.
