Lab + X-ray, mammogram and bone density screenings
In 2002, the Foundation created space for an on-site blood lab and radiology (including mammography) to ensure better patient care. The department at the East Hampton Healthcare Center was funded in part by EHHF and now is staffed by Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
LAB
The staff performs blood work for routine analysis on-premise. All specimens are taken by courier several times each day to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for diagnosis and timely reporting.
RADIOLOGY
The newest and most modern digital x-ray, mammography, and bone densitometry equipment available in East Hampton is right here at the Healthcare Center, for everyone’s convenience.
